volunteer

If you believe in the healing power of art and think it should be accessible to everyone within our community then this opportunity is for you! NEAR needs volunteers from a variety of backgrounds to help with everything from organization and setup of events and activities to fundraising and administrative duties.

intern

NEAR’s interns are an integral part of our team and NEAR projects that bring structured expressive arts events and counseling to underserved individuals, families and communities locally, regionally and nationally. Interns are creative critical thinkers and makers, who bring ideas and support to NEAR and her clients. Computer technology skills are a plus.

NEAR provides hands-on intern experiences via the ongoing development of an expressive arts response nonprofit, inquiries to underserved communities, creation of expressive arts workshops and classes, grant writing, fundraising, expressive arts responses to transitional developments and learning how expressive arts are interwoven in therapy and healing. NEAR internships are eligible for college credit!

LEAD A WORKSHOP

Do you have a creative passion in the healing arts? Work alongside NEAR’s experts to bring more opportunities for citizen maker art, art therapy, trauma response, and public engagement with expressive art focused on social and cultural integration.

donate

The work that we do is made possible through funding provided by grants and donations. Make a tax deductible donation today and support trauma response through arts and counseling in our community for years to come!
